There’s hope for pancreatic cancer patients and it starts with YOU. Pancreatic cancer remains the 4th leading cause of cancer death in the United States. Too many of us are left to care for loved ones with too little hope. But it doesn’t have to be that way. You can take action to RAISE THE CURE for pancreatic cancer.
The Pancreatic Cancer Action Network has launched the single largest funding initiative ever for the pancreatic cancer community—RAISE THE CURE. This comprehensive campaign is designed to secure much needed federal and private funding for pancreatic cancer research. We have already submitted our National Plan to Advance Pancreatic Cancer Research, to the federal government, and in 2008 the Pancreatic Cancer Research & Education Act (H.R. 745) was introduced in Congress.

Equally important to the success of RAISE THE CURE is our commitment to expanding private research by increasing the number of grants awarded to pancreatic cancer investigators with private funding. We are already mobilizing to secure the federal funding component of RAISE THE CURE. At the same time, the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network seeks to raise $25 million in private research over the next three years.
