I wish my story were different but sadly my story is like many others who have a loved one diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. On March 10, 2011 my dad was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer and on April 7, 2011 my dad passed away. Now my family and I are left with heavy hearts, lots of questions, but most of all wonderful memories of a man who loved the world that he was taken too soon from.
Pancreatic cancer is the ONLY major cancer with a five-year survival rate still in the single digits at just 6%. With your help, we can change this deadly statistic.
